New Year Splurge

Basically, when it comes to make-up, I'm a big fat loser. It's freaking easy to buy whole loads of make-up stuffs and not know how to use it. I admit I'm not intelligent type enough to swipe-swap palettes and colours all over my face and look picture-perfect. I always opt to go for natural colours and stick to the basics but even that, I cant manage. Feel the same? Read on.

However, I discovered something that just might be the trick for my radiant-less and UN-flawless skin. I was roaming in Parkson, Gurney Plaza one day when I came across this all-in-one set that I knew I HAD TO BUY IT!

BENEFIT : CONFESSIONS OF A CONCEALAHOLIC.
Sounds familiar? I know. :P

And yes, you read it right. Conceal-a-holic. Every skin needs touch-up once in awhile to look its best. Face it, with all the tremendous stress, how can we girls cope up with healthy diets and be consistent in our skincare range? So, if concealer is already your best friend, I bet this is your thing.

Its a set of the most popular concealers in Benefit. Fret not, it's not that costly if you sum everything up. I prefer to go for cosmetics in sets because it is much easier to use for people like me.

1. That girl - Brightening Face Primer. (7.5ml)
After your skincare, it's best for you if you use a primer. So that your make-up stays put all
day long. And Psst.. your skin will look instantly radiant with this brightening primer. I love the scent of it too! Very fruity and delicious!

2. Erase Paste - Brightening Camouflage (3.2g)
It's a concealer for panda-eyes and eye bags. It comes in a medium shade, suitable for Asian skin like you and me. It really covers my veins and dark circles so this is a must-keep item for me!

3. Boi-ing - Industrial Strength Concealer (2x1.3g)
2-in-1! In this particular set, it comes with two types of shade. One, light and one medium. Try blending those two and those red bumps will be gone in a jiffy!

4. Eye Bright - Instant Eye Brightener. (0.9g)
Eye bright is used for the inner and outer corners of the eyes. Honestly, I love this! It really brightens up my eyes and it makes me look ever-ready and you wont even realise your wearing it.

5. Lemon Aid - Colour Correcting Eyelid Primer (0.9g)
This lemon aid is actually well-known in Benefit to extinguish those tired looking eyes or when you just feel lazy to put on a eyeshadow. However, I'm not a fan of lemon aid cause its too light and too bright for my medium-coloured skin. So, I just use it as a primer.

Great combo? I think so too! And its inexpensive. It's retail price is at RM148 per set. Oh, Did I mention? It also comes with a handy book to teach you how to use it and 2 brushes so that you wont worsen your blemishes. Double love! ^^

Till I find something new to share! Good day!
Hope you guys are pumped-up for the New Year!

Berry Christmas!

Ah, at last I got my fingers on the keyboard. Well, after my BIG exam I decided to let my brain rot and take its rest. Eventually, I think it died on me. Too lazy to get myself to blog, well, I'm lazy to do most of everything now. *face down*

Me and nephew, Luca.

I'm gonna start off with my Christmas. This year I decided to spent my time with the Tan's as we don't get to see each other as often. We had BBQ at my Aunt's place. I don't really like BBQ though.. Things could get really HOT and all the smoke going in the lungs is a big-turn-off for me, not the mention the cancerous carbon-ed food. Oh well, since it makes everybody happy, why not?
Everybody had a great time that day and we decided to spend the night at my aunt's place.

Then, on the 26th, I decided to spend the Belated Christmas with Boyfie, Clement. Hippo let me to plan the whole day together! Yay!

First stop, Straits Quay.
I've never been to Straits Quay. It's my first time actually. People have been raving about how luxurious it is and how big it is. Well, its under E&O properties, so duh. Once there, I am indeed amazed how big the building is and how beautiful the place is. Especially it's cylindrical-staircase and its by-the-sea view. A must-see building if you are a Penangite.

Beautiful Architecture. True?

Second stop, Anabelle's Place.
This place you all got to go. It's a English theme place some sort like Winter Warmers. Hippo and I share a HUGE common interest, FOOD. We love hunting for places which provides awesome food, terrific ambient and great service. I stumbled upon this place by Google actually. I was searching for a great place (in Penang) which serve my favourite dessert, Creme Brulee'.
It's located at Lembah Permai. Click This!

Beautiful right? I'm in love with the counter top.

Blog-tress and her faithful sidekick wearing his Christmas pressie! =)

Shoe-mugs!

My meal! Creamy Carbonara! yum!

This is what Creme Brulee looks like! Heaven sent!

Last Picture of the day!

Oh well, that's all. Thanks for reading! Do place your comment below ya! *hugs and kisses*
