Mission Accomplished!

Boo Yah! Hi readers! I must say, I do apologise for long full with pictures post.

Yesterday, Clement and I went for a day trip in Penang. Nothing to WAA about I know but we actually plan-ED this trip long long time ago. However, every time we try to complete this task, something or someone always interfere with the plan. Anyways, our mission is to go to Penang Hill (also known as Bukit Bendera which doesn't actually makes sense to me) on its newly renovated Funicular Train and go to Kek Lok Si Temple for sight-seeing purposes.

We went out around 10am. I was feeling so hyper and excited for this trip! Started putting on sunblock and all.. Half way of our journey, rain started to pour like no one's business. Dang! Clement said this, "So much for your sunblock." Ish. So, we decided to go to Gurney Plaza first while waiting for the rain to stop. We stroll around couple of shops but got nothing to buy. So, love decided that we sit down and fill up our stomach before starting our trip.

We dine in a place called "Manila Place". Honestly, I've been to Gurney Plaza so many times but I never dine in Manila Place yet. So yesterday I got my chance!

Him and her.

You should try this! Because I love it! Creammmyyyyy!

Noms Noms. Fish Fillet with cheese and creamy sauce. Yeap yeap, that's why I'm gaining weight! I love anything with cream and cheeseeeeee..

Love's meal. Teriyaki Chicken with Garlic Butter sauce.

My favourite picture of the day.together.

Then, off we go to Penang Hill! Yay! It has been so long that I actually sat on Penang Hill's funicular train. So snap snap pictures all the way!

The two-way ticket price is divided into two category : One is for foreigners and the other is for us, Malaysian citizens. You'll need to provide your Identification Card upon purchasing the ticket.

Foreigner's ticket price list :
Adults : RM30.00
Children (Aged 3-12 years old) : RM 15.00
Family Package for 2 Adults and 2 Children : RM 70.00
Disabled Person with card : FREE

Malaysian Citizen's ticket price list :
Adults : RM8.00
Children / Senior Citizen (above 55 years old) / Student with student pass : RM 4.00
Family Package for 2 adults and 2 children : RM 18.00
Disabled Person : FREE

I feel its really unreasonable for them to charge quadruple ticket price to the foreigners. I understand they need to gain profit, but this is too much! Anyways, Love and I didn't have to wait for our turns. We came just on the right time where there's not really a lot of people. Just Tourists.

Our tickets!

Upon entering.

In the funicular train.

This is the signboard you have to look out for in case your wondering when to get off.

The newly renovated funicular train.

Our first picture together when we reached Penang Hill.

Love is actually a shy guy when it comes to taking pictures.

Not for me! I love taking pictures even though I'm not pretty.

There were bungee rides.

greennnssss

My not so ready shot.

I was really glad that Clement and I chose the right time to be there where the air was cold and nice. There's actually nothing much in Penang Hill, a lot of shops are still renovating. Just that it brings back old memories if you ever been there before and it's panoramic view of Penang/Butterworth view is just breath-taking with the help of the mist and cool breeze of course!

After that, off we went to Kek Lok Si Temple for some sight-seeing.

Had some sugar-cane juice to quench our thirst!

I was brought through some flea market by love.

Love said I hold the leaves like holding a bouquet of flowers. Zzz

I feed.

You feed.

Tortoise say : NOM NOM! MORE MORE!

Well, no matter how much we fed them, they still eat! But it's a pleasure watching them. So, if you all come across Kek Lok Si Temple, do buy for them some food ya. Its only RM1 per bundle. After walking so much that day, love and I couldn't walk anymore. We decided not to go up to the newly renovated Temple. Oh well, next time then!

Our trip ends here.

My funny picture of the day.

Took this pic when the rain started pouring.

That's all folks! By the way, anyone joining Clinique Star Search? That will be my post soon~

Till then,
Huiling.

Seek Assistance from MCA

Hi my dear readers!

This post is mainly for those who are like me who didn't get any spot in any university or the ones who are not offered their choice of course.

I don't know whether you all have read The Star on 17 July 2011 or not, which is just yesterday by the way.

Anyhow, I feel for those who didn't get into any University like me. But after reading the article posted by The Star, I'm proud to say that MCA is helping those who are like us into varsities. God bless them!!

Anyways, I have submitted my form to the MCA Biro already. So, now I'm helping you guys out.
Ok. So, first things first. They already stated there that :
"*Rayuan daripada pelajar yang mendapat tawaran di dalam 8 pilihan tidak akan dilayan sama sekali ".
(The candidates who got any offer from their 8 choices are not eligible to apply) but I guess you can try.
And they did not stated there that you have to be a Chinese. So, my Indian and Malay friends, feel free to just try ya.

Actually, after submitting all my documents, I feel it's an easy task. After doing it, I felt more comfortable and more assured. You should try too!

There's a few details you should know :
1. The word "disahkan" means you must get a certified chop from your respective schools. (Chopped and signed ya). Any teacher in the Admin from any of the school you been to can certify your documents. All you need to do is Just Ask.
2. Make sure you buy a A4 envelope to put in all your documents because the Post office I went, did not have one. So, I'm saving your arse from doing a double job.
3. You need to prepare RM6 for Pos Laju. Pos Laju is much safer and faster because the dateline is 21st July.
4. Make sure you put your documents in a orderly manner. Come on, they're are helping you, so, just do for them a favor ya?

I think that's about it. If you feel that I did for you a favour, a simple Thank You would be nice in my comment box down there ya?. Make me feel much appreciated. ^^

This is the link where you can print the form.
That's all! And all the best to those who are applying!

Loads of love,
HuiLing.

Reality check

Hello readers, Happy ones or Sad ones, your welcome to read.

tee hee! I just HAD to post a EMO pic.

I think by now, a load of you would know that I did not get accepted into any University in Malaysia. Grr.. I cant stop freaking out about it or get all frustrated with the government who handles the higher institution education department . FB "Top News" didn't help too, you know. If you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong. I'm not angry with those who posted Tahniah (Congratulations) and all. Just felt outermost jealousy for you. Congrats ya!

this is for those who never seen the 'tidak berjaya' part.

I so hate the way they put it. It makes you feel even worst right? Click the picture to get a clearer view.

I know there are a few who are just like me is reading this right now who feels the same. So, Let's not get our hopes too high on the appeal ya? It's time to face reality that you gotta have Plan B. I personally did not have any plan B before the results was announce. Actually, I'm pretty confident with my results to GET ME IN a University. I guess I was wrong.

Never mind that, anyways, I would like to know, What are your plans?
For me,
1. Appeal. but I'm not sure whether to appeal with the same course & uni or not. (do comment on this, much help needed)
2. Go to a half government/half private University. MSU.. MMU..
3. Get myself a JOB and study part-time. (this's my last resort, more like giving up eh?)

All I want to say is, ahem. Everything happens for a reason. I personally think that I'm still counted lucky. Cause I'm able to appeal. Some of my friends who got "who-hell-knows-what" courses couldn't.
By the way, Quote from my Teacher : LIFE CAN BE CRUEL AT TIMES. So, for now, I think all of us have to Suck it up and move on.

Thanks for reading ya!

Loads of love,
HuiLing.

Encounting : 2.0 days. wtf.

Hi readers!

Happy Wednesday! LOL. what a lame opening. =.= Ignore that. Anyways, I'm not up to anything lately. I don't work anymore by the way. So, if you guys have any part time jobs, can recommend me. As for me, Just the same old cleaning the house routine. My house now is officially clean! ^^ thanks to me! Hahaz..

Learnt some tricks while cleaning :

Trick #1 : Use newspaper to wipe your windows to kill the oils, stickyness and dust!
Trick #2 : Use soap powder together with your moping detergent. After that, you will have squeaky floors to step on.
Trick #3: Use a toothbrush together with soap powder to scrub between the tiles!

Well, the reason I blog today is because I wanna say ..
OMGGGGGGG!!! I LEFT 2 MORE FREAKING DAYS!!!

Sighs, I'm scared and excited at the same time. So, I wana wish to all the STPM Leavers,
Good Luck and I hope you all get the university you want. *pray for me too!*

Developed some photos so that when I'm old, I can look at it again. *nostalgic*

Don't know whether you guys notice or not, there's a picture of me when I'm little somewhere. Keyword : sourplum face ^^

Till then!
Loads of Love.
