Yesterday, Clement and I went for a day trip in Penang. Nothing to WAA about I know but we actually plan-ED this trip long long time ago. However, every time we try to complete this task, something or someone always interfere with the plan. Anyways, our mission is to go to Penang Hill (also known as Bukit Bendera which doesn't actually makes sense to me) on its newly renovated Funicular Train and go to Kek Lok Si Temple for sight-seeing purposes.

We went out around 10am. I was feeling so hyper and excited for this trip! Started putting on sunblock and all.. Half way of our journey, rain started to pour like no one's business. Dang! Clement said this, "So much for your sunblock." Ish. So, we decided to go to Gurney Plaza first while waiting for the rain to stop. We stroll around couple of shops but got nothing to buy. So, love decided that we sit down and fill up our stomach before starting our trip.
We dine in a place called "Manila Place". Honestly, I've been to Gurney Plaza so many times but I never dine in Manila Place yet. So yesterday I got my chance!
Him and her.
You should try this! Because I love it! Creammmyyyyy!
Noms Noms. Fish Fillet with cheese and creamy sauce. Yeap yeap, that's why I'm gaining weight! I love anything with cream and cheeseeeeee..
Love's meal. Teriyaki Chicken with Garlic Butter sauce.
My favourite picture of the day.together.
Then, off we go to Penang Hill! Yay! It has been so long that I actually sat on Penang Hill's funicular train. So snap snap pictures all the way!
The two-way ticket price is divided into two category : One is for foreigners and the other is for us, Malaysian citizens. You'll need to provide your Identification Card upon purchasing the ticket.
Foreigner's ticket price list :
Adults : RM30.00
Children (Aged 3-12 years old) : RM 15.00
Family Package for 2 Adults and 2 Children : RM 70.00
Disabled Person with card : FREE
Malaysian Citizen's ticket price list :
Adults : RM8.00
Children / Senior Citizen (above 55 years old) / Student with student pass : RM 4.00
Family Package for 2 adults and 2 children : RM 18.00
Disabled Person : FREE
I feel its really unreasonable for them to charge quadruple ticket price to the foreigners. I understand they need to gain profit, but this is too much! Anyways, Love and I didn't have to wait for our turns. We came just on the right time where there's not really a lot of people. Just Tourists.

Love is actually a shy guy when it comes to taking pictures.
Not for me! I love taking pictures even though I'm not pretty.
There were bungee rides.
greennnssss
My not so ready shot.
I was really glad that Clement and I chose the right time to be there where the air was cold and nice. There's actually nothing much in Penang Hill, a lot of shops are still renovating. Just that it brings back old memories if you ever been there before and it's panoramic view of Penang/Butterworth view is just breath-taking with the help of the mist and cool breeze of course!
After that, off we went to Kek Lok Si Temple for some sight-seeing.
I was brought through some flea market by love.
Love said I hold the leaves like holding a bouquet of flowers. Zzz
I feed.
You feed.
Tortoise say : NOM NOM! MORE MORE!
Well, no matter how much we fed them, they still eat! But it's a pleasure watching them. So, if you all come across Kek Lok Si Temple, do buy for them some food ya. Its only RM1 per bundle. After walking so much that day, love and I couldn't walk anymore. We decided not to go up to the newly renovated Temple. Oh well, next time then!
Our trip ends here.
My funny picture of the day.
Took this pic when the rain started pouring.
That's all folks! By the way, anyone joining Clinique Star Search? That will be my post soon~
Till then,
Huiling.
