Loving Life

Hi readers!
I had a phenomenal weekend! How about you?

On Saturday, my family and I went into Logo's Hope, the world largest floating book fair. It's been raving all over Penang because hell-knows-when Logos is coming to Penang again. Then, we went and enrolled me, myself and I into college. Yeap! I finally have one now. Ahh.. after a year of not touching a book, I missed it so dearly and I'm not gonna let it slip away again! I am DEAD serious when I say I'm going to make a huge comeback !

 Huge huh?

Inside.

The whole place is filled with books! Duh. But more on the kids and fiction section though. In my opinion, some of the books were quite cheap. My sis bought two books at a go. I'm not really a fiction person so I opt for motivational books, but there was none I fancy.

Then, Mom brought my sis and I to her friend's shop to learn how to bake Mexican Buns and Ham & Cheese Buns. Hehe. Honestly, when we got there, they already finished making the dough. So, we just helped with the finishing touches. Smart people.

Mexican Buns - In the making.

Ta-da! Warm Home made Mexican Buns! Delicious and crunchy too!

Just had to take a pic cause there was a gigantic mirror there.

As for dinner, we, plus my aunt, went to Tsunami Village (quite well known in Penang too). I love the place cause it's cozy, windy and it's by the sea!

Sis, mom and aunt.

As for the next day, we went for a visit to my cousin's home to see my new-born niece! Wee, another girl in the family!

Say Hi to Danielle! Yes, it's pronounced as Daniel with a longer -elll-

And this is my nephew, Jayden. He's such a sweetheart.

That's about all folks! Kind of having nervous breakdown cause I'm going to college/uni tomorrow! ~ Haven't been to a place without rules before. O.M.G I know.

Till then,
Loads of love,
HuiLing.

Recovering.

TA- DA! Baked my very FIRST cake!

I'm so in a dilemma lately, so, I decided to do bake to forget about my problems. You should try to you know! Baking is about accuracy and the amount of attention you give while baking.

You cannot think about your problems while baking, your only focus is "D" the cake.

I'm such a turn-off lately. Been hunting down a few people to discuss my problems and I think I'm really annoying. WTF.

Till then, still haven't decide what I want to do with myself.

We'll see aite?

A Sour grape.

Still figuring how to use a eyeliner! Not bad for an amateur right?

Hi readers! Wonder why I didn't blog for a long long time?

Well, to tell ya the truth, I'm abit dissapointed with life now. Everything just doesn't go with the flow yo'! Something I hope, I mean, I'm really counting my life on it just washed away. Perished, Died, Burn! I waited for it for a year but ended up not getting anything. *Pffts! I know I have to accept the fact that life is always harder than it seems that I'm not the only one in this situation. I am recovering really fast I guess, with all the support from my family, friends and love.

Don't worry! I will make a huge comeback! To prove that life can still be fun even it doesn't go the way you wanted it to. Everything happens for a reason right?

Well, that seems to be that's it. Thanks for everyone concern(s). I'll be alright.

Loads of love,
Hui Ling.

What I've learnt.

Hi readers!

Been away for a few days, well, exactly 8days because I was out making money! Got myself a job as a casual worker in a F&B industry and believe me, it wasn't easy. Among all the jobs I've went, I think this is the hardest one but the experience there was worth while. Working there for just 8days was really an eye-opener for me. Even though I'm just a casual worker there, mind you, they do not give me "special treatment". I have to learn my duty as a cashier and a packer by hook or by crook in just matter of hours. The place I've worked had a lot of varieties of food and beverages that customer could choose from which makes my job even more tough.

I have seen customers who get really impatient and fussy upon ordering their food. Believe me, after working 8days there, I promised myself not to ill-treat anyone in the F&B industry anymore but give my outermost respect for them. Honestly, I do get very furious with those customers who want to initiate a stir just because of small reasons. I still hold my smile anyways cause that is my job. Being in a F&B industry, you have to be physically and mentally prepared. When I first when for the interview, I was like, "Okay, I can do this! Piece of cake!" But when the time arrives, Gosh, I had to stand for 8 freaking hours straight, hardly get to drink a cup of water, got burnt every once in awhile, need to put on make-up every morning and I had to smile for 8 whole hours! I can't tell you how much pain I was in for the past 8 days! My back sore every single day due to the standing and carrying stuffs in the morning, my hands now are filled with burnt marks, and not to mention some of the customers outrageous orders.

I definitely learnt how to control my temper and how to meet customer's needs in just minutes! I'm also getting faster in applying make-up! I'm normally slow when doing something. I like to take time to look around and take my own sweet time doing something. I guess there are pros and cons to it though.

By the way, this is not the only burnt mark I got. I got like 5 of them. How depressing!

That's all folks! Feeling really down today so I decided to blog something. Hope you guys don't mind I wasted your time.

Loads of love,
Huiling.
